403,244. Hydraulic apparatus. SANITATSGES. M. SCHAERER AKT.- GES., Berne, Switzerland. Feb. 20, 1933, No. 5193. Convention date, Feb. 23, 1932. [Class 69 (ii).] The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, comprised the description of a hydraulic lifting apparatus forming part of a surgical operating-table. It is operated by a pedal lever 8 ; a lug 7 on this lever, when it is in its top position, presses inwards a pivoted key 10 and locks the plunger 9 in its upraised position. A release lever 12 is actuated by a lowering-pedal 14 ; by means of a link 13 it pulls down the arm 6 on the pivot of the lever 8, withdraws the lug 7, and releases the plunger 9 before the lever 12 strikes the stem 23 of the release valve. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
