Force-transmitting mechanism.-In a pedaldriven garden roller a brake 73 is operated by a lever 65 through a flexible connection 69 and a pivoted member 70 provided with a roller 71 engaging a spring-controlled pivoted member 72 carrying the brake block 73. The lever 65 also operates mechanism for moving clutch levers out of range of a cam on the steering-fork 11. Specifications 26937/09 and 130,487, [both in Class 6 (i), Cultivating implements &c.], are referred to.
