561,668. Perambulator brakes. HUBNER,A. Feb. 3, 1943, No. 1761. [Class 103 (i)] A perambulator brake comprises a transverse shaft 4 mounted in side bars 2 of the frame that connects the wheel axles, cranked upwardly and outwardly at one or both ends to provide a crank-pin 6 for engagement with a wheel tyre 12. The shaft is turned to apply the brake by toggle links 7, 8 pivoted to the bar 2 at 9 and to an arm 5 on the shaft. The link 7 is extended to form a hand or foot lever 10 and its application movement is limited, as shown, by engagement with the shaft 4 to a position just beyond the dead-centre position.
