Abstract
401,155. Safety razors. MAGAZINE REPEATING RAZOR CO., 230, Park Avenue, New York, U.S.A. Feb. 16, 1933, No. 4854. Convention date, March 5, 1932. [Class 30.] In razors of the magazine type containing a stack of blades and having a shaving head into which the blades are pushed one at a time, the pusher 31 is formed with a spring tongue 33 having a head 34 adapted to engage a recess 35 in the blade 20 so that the latter may be either pulled or pushed. A shoulder 31a projects in advance of the shoulder 31b on the pusher to give a bias to the blade when in motion. The tongue 33 is kept in engagement with the blade when in motion by a restricted passage. When the blade has been thrust home the tongue springs out of the recess 35 into an enlargement in the passage provided for the purpose.
