Scissors and hand-shears. -The blades of scissors, shears, and the like are pressed into contact during cutting by a bowed spring C seated in a groove or recess D in one of the blades between the pivot and the handle. The spring is gripped at one end in a slot E, the other end being sprung under an overhanging projection F.
