Abstract

249,410. Driest, C. Sept. 14, 1925. Scissors.-A pair of hand shears or scissors is provided with blades 19 which are connected to handle members 7, 8, so that the blades can be removed without dissecting the pivotal connection of the handles, by screws 26 which engage bushings 25 in the handles. Bushings 13, 14 may also be provided for the pivot pin 12. The handles 7, 8, for which a comparatively soft metal may be used, are preferably formed by diecastings.
