Abstract
364,901. Safety razors. GILLETTE SAFETY RAZOR CO., 15, West 1st Street, Boston, U.S.A. Feb. 17, 1931, No. 5079. Convention date, March 7, 1930. [Class 30.] The guard is formed with positioning studs 39 of various forms adapted to fill only partially a slot 26 in the blade and various enlargements of the slot. A variety of shapes of stud are shown which will engage the blade in various ways while not restricting the number of ways in which it can be used in the holder, such as, for example, that shown at 55 in Fig. 12. The back-plate is made with lugs 37 which engage recesses at the corners of the blade. The invention is specially applicable to razors of the kind described in Specification 272,629, [Class 30, Cutlery].
