Abstract

397,874. Brake shoes. CAREW, G. A. P., 1, Chichester Road, East Croydon, and ROEMER, C. W. DE, 20, Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park, London. Feb. 26, 1932, No. 5810. [Class 103 (i).] A brake shoe comprises a main part 14 having two radial shoulders 25 between which is a series of tooth members 16 the tips of which are narrower than the roots and lie below the ends of the shoulders and a subsidiary part 17 filling the space between the shoulders and having a series of tooth members complementary to the tooth members on the main part and carrying or constituting a fibrous friction material lining. The main and subsidiary parts are retained together by studs and nuts 23 or by spring clips.
