396,854. Piston packing.' CARLISLE, W. S., KELSEY, J. R., and CORBIDGE, A., Eagle Foundry, Stalker Lees Road, Sheffield. March 18, 1932, No. 8039. [Class 122 (i).] Undivided rings a, a<1> are arranged above and below the packing-rings b, b<1> which may be of the kind described in Specification 2043/09, [Class 122 (i), Engine and like cylinders &c.], and are provided with internal flanges c, c<1> turned down and up respectively behind the rings b, b<1>. The flanges c, c<1> are cut away at d, d<1> and receive segmental extensions e, e<1> on the rings b, b<1> respectively which limit the expansion and contraction.
