[Class 122 (i).] The lower peripheral edge 4 of an oil scraper ring 1 is bevelled to form a lead in for the oil, during the downstroke of the piston, to return ports 5, 6 through the middle of the ring and piston. The outer face of the ring may also be rebated at 2.
