[Class 123 (ii).] Steam boilers employing a closed combustion chamber 4 to which fuel and air are supplied under such pressure that the pressure within the chamber substantially exceeds atmospheric, e.g. by <1>/10 atmosphere, comprise a high pressure portion formed of a tube or tubes 1 screening one or more walls of the chamber and a separate low pressure portion 2 in which heat is absorbed from tubes 11 in parallel through which the hot gases pass at reduced temperature. High pressure steam is delivered through a pipe 8 and low pressure steam through a pipe 15.
