Abstract
384,097. Water-tube steam generators. SULZER FR—RES SOC. ANON., Winterthur, Switzerland. Dec. 21, 1931, No. 35247. Convention date, March 5. Drawings to Specification. [Class 123 (ii).] High pressure boilers in which the working medium is fed as liquid to one end of a continuous tube and discharged from the other as superheated steam are so dimensioned that the length of tube from the points of admission and discharge of the medium is at least 10000 times its internal diameter which is not less than 15 mm. or more than 70 mm., a range of 20-60 mm. being most suitable. Several tubes coiled as desired may be connected in parallel or the tubes employed as protection for the combustion chamber walls or for forming flue gas ducts. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 27067/05, [Class 123, Steam generators].
