Sept. 27, 1932, No. 26804. [Class 114.] A marine screw propeller is provided with a working face which is developed by a concave generatrix 5, and with a drag face 6 which is of convex form and is of stream line form in section, the maximum thickness of the sections lying on a line approximately parallel with the leading edge contour and located about one-third of the distance between the leading and following edges 1, 2. These edges are of arcuate form and the width of the blade decreases from root to tip.
