[Classes 16 and 73.] A printed form or the like intended to reproduce matter written or printed thereon has carbon sheets attached by adhesive either to the front or rear only at the places where reproduction is to be ejected, the attachment being effected so that either the carbon sheets may be removed after use or they may remain adherent thereto. The forms 9 are fed between a printing and an impression cylinder to an adhesive-applying cylinder which is provided with dovetailed grooves in which are mounted clamping-means for adhesive-receptacles. The adhesive-applying cylinder co-operates with another cylinder to deposit adhesive in predetermined positions on the forms 9, and the forms are then fed over carbon-sheet containers which are supported on a transversely adjustable table 11 mounted in guides 10 supported by pillars 18, 19. The carbon sheets 12, 13 rest on cardboard discs 14, 15 attached to rods 16, 17 adapted to feed the piles vertically to keep the upper carbon sheets at a constant level. A table 7 is provided with grooves 2 accommodating presser-fingers 8 and clamping- means therefor, and when a form 9 is positioned between the table 7 and the table 11, both tables move towards each other so that the fingers 8 press the parts of the form covered with adhesive on to the uppermost carbon sheets. The tables are then moved apart and the form 9 with the attached carbon sheets moves between the rollers of an entraining- apparatus, and then between cutting-apparatus which cuts each form to the desired length.
