[Class 100 (iv).] Paper-shelves; margin stops.-The shelf e, as shown in the Figure, is secured to arms d which are pivoted on the platen-supporting brackets b of the carriage c and are arranged to support the shelf in approximately horizontal position above the platen a when the machine is out of use. The bottom edge f of the shelf may be arranged to abut on the apron h. The shelf may be provided on the underside with a rack l carrying margin stops p which can be set with reference to a scale m when the shelf is moved into the horizontal position. The margin stops cooperate with stops o on the framework, release being effected by moving the shelf.
