393,757. Pipe joints. CHIPCHASE, H., Sunny Dene, Harlow Crescent, and HEMSLEY, L. F., 38, Otley Road, both in Harrogate. June 24, 1932, No. 17816. [Class 99 (i).] A union 3 is screwed into a conical bush 2 in the pipe end, which is bent over the end of the bush and secured by a nut 5. The bush is recessed at 9 and may have a groove 8 and a roughened surface at 7. Packing-rings may be provided between the union and the shoulder 10, between the nut and the end of the pipe, and in the recess 9.
