[Class 47 (ii).] Both the filling opening 2 and the discharge outlet 5 of a container 1 for inflammable liquids are fitted with serpentine tubes 3, 6 of such form as to constitute permanent liquid seals. A serpentine vent pipe 7 of small bore also is provided, and is fitted with a cock 9. Where the container is the petrol tank of a vehicle, outflow of petrol can be stopped by closing the cock 9.
