Abstract

751,736. Tanks. DALZELL ELECTRIC WELDING CO., Ltd. Sept. 3, 1954 [Aug. 18, 1953], No. 22705/53. Class 69 (1). A container 1 for beer &c. adapted to be permanently installed in an underground cellar from which the beer is pumped for consumption comprises a thin metal shell 2 lined with corrosion-resistant metal at 3 and provided with a supply inlet 13 by which the container can be filled from motor tanker vehicles and which is normally closed by a, cap 16, a draw-off outlet 18 at the bottom, an air inlet fitting 11 at the top, a quantity indicator 21 and a cleaning opening 19 normally closed by a manhole door 20. A pressure gauge and a pressure relief valve 12 may also be fitted, and a size of 108 gallons is described as advantageous.
