Abstract

363,043. Cans &c. BENEY, E. R., 3, Spenser Street, Victoria Street, London. Oct. 17, 1930, No. 31143. [Class 66.] A can or other sheet - metal vessel having walls capable of bulging inwardly on the application of slight pressure thereto is adapted for dispensing small quantities of petrol or other liquid by being provided with a tube D reaching nearly to the bottom and passing through and being secured to the threaded cap C of the filling opening B, the upper end being bent over and provided with a plug or closure F. The cap is provided with a washer, and the threads of the cap and filling opening are made with sufficient " lost motion" to permit the passage of air when the cap is not screwed home.
