389,602. Gas burners. STANWORTH, S., 198, Briercliffe Road, and STANWORTH, J., 15, Reedley Grove, both in Burnley. Jan. 9, 1932, No. 665. [Class 75 (i).] A gas burner for heating domestic-wash boilers and the like having domeshaped or conical bottom is provided with a drip tray for catching condensation water formed by dishing the top B of the burner or by casting a cup F on the bottom of and around a body A provided with a dome-shaped cover G. The top B and cover G are secured to the body A by means of a central stud C and are formed with burner outlets D. In both forms, the bore of the gas nipple (not shown) is conical at the outer end and terminates in an outlet aperture having a sharp edge for increasing the induction of air into the mixing tube. The Provisional Specification states also that the burner may be provided with both forms of drip tray.
