[Class 75 (i)] In a double burner structure for liquid fuels, the upper end lower pots 7, 17 have concentric side walls provided with primary air inlets, the interior of the lower pot 17 being connected with the interior of the upper pot 7 by an axial aperture 16 with a circumferential flange 16 extending upwardly above the bottom 14 of the pot 7, means being provided for delivering liquid fuel independently to each pot. The pot 17, which is attached to the pot 7 in any suitable way, such as bracketing or welding, may have a central fitting 21, Fig. 1, to receive an air passage 22 leading into a sleeve 23 with upper air outlets 25 and lower downwardly and outwardly fitted outlets 26, or it may have air inlets 31a, Fig. 7, similar to those of the pot 7. Secondary air inlets 12, preferably upwardly 'and ' inwardly fitted may also be provided in the upper pot 7. To ensure that any overflow from the upper pot drips into the lower pot and does not flow along the walls, the lower edge of the flange may be lipped, as at 62, Fig. 7, or a siphon, Fig. 6, may be hooked over the flange as that when the fuel in the upper pot reaches the bottom of the short arm 68, the fuel flows along the wire to drip from the long arm 67.
