Abstract
389,409. Ink. GILL, H. A., 51, Chancery Lane, London.-(Naamlooze Vennootschap Handelmaatschappij Baver ; Amsterdam.) Oct. 3, 1932, No. 27423. [Class 146 (iii).] Printing-ink is prepared with a binder of boiled wood oil and a terpene polymerization product such as polymerized pinene in order to prevent offsetting. In addition, the higher polymerization products having the consistency of semi-solid resins, diluents such as linseed or wood oil, and agents to facilitate or retard drying, may be incorporated. In an example, boiled wood oil or stand oil and diterpene are mixed with a pigment, and diluted with crude or boiled wood or other oil.
