Abstract

472,938. Ink. RENWICK, F. F., and KEMITYPE, Ltd. July 31, 1936, No. 21300. [Class 146 (iii)] Terpineol and terpinyl acetate are added, either separately or together, to printing-ink particularly for photolithographic or collotype printing, as thinners. From 2 to 25 per cent by weight of the thinners may be added to inks consisting of lithographic varnish and pigment. Other known thinners, such as linseed oil, resin oil, paraffin oil, turpentine, amyl acetate, or the like, may also be added.
