389,217. Clamps. WHITTAKER BROS. (ACCRINGTON), Ltd., Pioneer Works, Accrington, and HARRIS, C. W., The Sheiling, Northenden Road, Gatley, Cheshire. Jan. 1, 1932, No. 15. [Class 61 (ii).] A clamp adaptable for fixing-machines such as mangling and wringing machines either to a horizontal or a vertical support comprises a removable reversible jaw B which is used in conjunction with either of two fixed jaws a<1>, a<2>. In the form shown, the jaws a<1>, a<2> are formed on a member A pivotally mounted on a support C carrying the machine. The jaw B which carries the clamping screw D is forked at b to swivel on a pin b<1> screwed in the member A. By removing the pin b<1>, reversing the jaw B, and reassembling the parts, the clamp can be used in either of the positions shown in Figs. 1 and 4.
