Abstract

388,599. Lubricating-pumps. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. April 26, 1932, No. 11931. Convention date, May 12, 1931. [Class 102 (i).] In a multiple-delivery lubricating-pump a number of plungers 6 arranged in a circle draw from a common suction chamber 12, supplied by a pipe 13, and discharge to pipes 15 controlled by piston valves 14. The valves 14 are pressed inwards by a spring 16, acting on a washer 17, and enclosed by a cover 18, which serves to collect leakage. The plungers are operated by a head 4 sliding on a central column 5 and reciprocated by a spindle 2 which is turned by a handle 8 and is formed with a groove 9 engaging a pin 10. The feed strokes of the plungers are adjusted by screws 7. The suction stroke is effected by a spring F, the plungers being formed with collars engaging recesses in a flange on the head 4.
