[Class 120 (ii).] A thread clearer or thread guide A is positioned on the screwed rod d of the bracket D by a nut d<1> and spring d<2>, whereby it can be accurately positioned relatively to the axial line of the thread. Specification 308,500, [Class 120 (ii), Spinning, twisting, &c.], is referred to.
