359,974. Holders for yarn guides and clearers in winding and other machines. SCRAGG & SONS, Ltd., E., Paradise Works, and SCRAGG, S., 31, Knowsley Road, both in Macclesfield, Cheshire. July 30, 1930, No. 22919. [Class 120 (ii).] A holder for porcelain guides and clearers adapted to be mounted on the steel traverse rails of machines such as winding, reeling, doubling, twisting, and like machines, particularly for silk and artificial silk, is formed of spring steel and is provided with jaws 6, 5 for the procelain thread guide 7, a portion to clip on to the traverse rail 4, and a vertical socket 8 for the clearer plate 9.
