Abstract
306,368. Thomson, R. B. Aug. 15, 1928. Spindle apparatus.-One or each of the legs of a flyer is provided with a rightangled bend B adapted to engage the yarn and so disposed that the yarn is maintained in substantially continuous contact with the flyer from a point at or near the boss and is thus held clear of the bobbin head, whereby longer bobbins may be used or shorter flyer legs and spindles with bobbins of normal length.
