427,240. Twisting -apparatus for imparting two twists per revolution. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AKT.- GES., 12, Mohrenstrasse, Oberbarmen, Wuppertal, Germany. July 12, 1934, No. 20488. Convention date, Feb. 10. [Class 120 (ii)] In a double-twist twisting spindle in which spinning cops e, Fig. 1, are employed as unwinding spools, the spool holder a which is stationary on the rotating twisting spindle is provided with an exchangeable thread clearer b through which the individual threads are led before entering the twisting spindle. The clearer comprises a cylinder b open at both ends having admission slots c, Fig. 2, for the threads and transversely extending clearing slots d. The slots d may be adjustable in width.
