420,058. Twisting - apparatus for imparting two twists per revolution. BARMER MASCHINENFABRIK AKT.- GES., 12, Mohrenstrasse, Oberbarmen, Wuppertal, Germany. July 12, 1934, No. 20489. Convention date, April 23. [Class 120 (ii)] Arcuate slots 5, Figs. 1 and 2, for guiding the threads are provided in a thread guiding disc 4 mounted on a spool holder 1, 2 for double twist twisting spindles having a number of supply cops 3 for each individual thread. As shown, the cops 3 are interconnected in threes so that two threads wind off at the same time. The inner edge of each slot 5 is provided with notches 6 spaced according to the arrangement of the cops 3 and formed by eccentric arcs 7. The outer edge of the slots is preferably higher than the middle of the disc 4 to facilitate threading.
