512,002. Yarns. AMERICAN VISCOSE CORPORATION. May 13, 1938, No. 14389. Convention date, July 22, 1937. Drawings to Specification. [Class 120 (iii)] A large rayon yarn for use in reinforcing pneumatic tyres and machinery belts comprises two or more unplied threads united with 5 to 10 turns per inch, each thread containing from 200 to 500 continuous filaments united with a high twist of 14 to 24 turns per inch in the opposite direction. The denier of the filaments is preferably 2 to 6, of the threads 1,000 to 1,500 and of the yarn 4,000 to 6,000, and the twists of the thread and yarn 18 and 10 turns per inch respectively.
