Abstract

1384500 Flyer arm arrangement in doubletwisting spindles PALITEX PROJECT-CO GmbH 11 Sept 1973 [2 April 1973] 42641/73 Heading D1D A flyer arm 7 in a double twister is arranged to pivot vertically about the base of a thread inlet tube 6 such that a thread guide eye 15 at its tip can register with the top of the thread inlet tube for threading up. As shown in Fig. 3 the mounting end of the flyer arm can be arranged to lift the thread inlet tube 6 and thus disengage a thread brake plate 20. This brake plate is normally held against a brake surface 19 by a multi-pole magnet 25. The flyer arm has two bar members joined by a web 14 or 35. Specification 1253883 is referred to.
