Abstract

387,252. Necklaces &c. STRINGER, G. H. S., 5, Cradock Street, Swansea. Aug. 9, 1932, No. 22345. [Class 43.] End or terminal pieces for necklets comprise two co-operating male and female members 3, 7, the male member 3 being provided with a tubular portion 5 in which one end of a threading member such as a chain 1 is secured, the other member 7 being provided with means, such as rings 8, 9 or a similar tubular portion, to hold the other end of the threading member. The tubular portion may be of soft metal and secured to a chain by deforming it, as at 6, with pliers. In the case of a cord, the male or female member may have a central aperture through which the cord is passed and secured by knotting at the inner surface. The members 3, 7 may be screw-threaded or have a co-operating pin-and-slot bayonet joint. The chain may be directly attached to the ring 8 or to a bolt ring 9.
