Abstract
414,994. Hook fastenings. DAUB, A., [Firm of], 23, Luisenstrasse, Pforzheim, Germany. March 21, 1934, No. 8928. Convention date, July 28, 1933. [Classes 44 and 89 (ii).] A hook fastening for bracelets, watch wristlets and the like has a transversely arranged tube, open underneath, provided with tubular extensions 8, 9, at its ends also open underneath, to form part of the hook. Each extension has an eye 10 which can slide on a pin 6 arranged parallel to the hook and fixed in the side cheeks 3, 4. A spring 7 is coiled round the pin 6 between the eyes 10 so that the extensions 8, 9, can be pressed inwards against the spring to vary the width of the hook. The band 11 is secured to the hook by a clamp 5 which has a tail piece 51 to close the slots in the hook and the extensions. In a modification a closure flap separate from the clamp is used.
