Abstract
352,751. Fastening means for watch and other bracelets. SPEIDEL, F., 1, Kallhardtstrasse, Pforzheim, Germany. July 25, 1930, No. 22469. [Class 43.] In a fastening means for bracelets adjustable in length and consisting of two overlapping band sides, the end of the lower band side II is fitted with a hinged slide e gripping over the upper band side I and with a nose d rigidly fixed thereto. The nose d is designed to engage with hollow spaces, apertures f or the like of the upper band side I, accessible from the rear side of the band, so that the nose can be disengaged from the apertures, &c. f only by oscillating one band side relatively to the other. The bracelet may consist of links b of semi-spherical cross section connected by eye links c. The end of the upper band side I may be fastened to the band side II by means of a hinged flap g having a tongue h adapted to engage in an aperture f of the band side II, the tongue h having lateral flaps i adapted to engage over the side edges of the band side II and to be held there by means of small projections i<1>. Each band side may be hooked by means of a fastening device a on the bow of a watch.
