Abstract

504,777. Bracelets; brooches. CARTIER SOC. ANON. May 5, 1938, No. 13480. Convention date, May 27, 1937. [Class 43] A bracelet with detachable clip ornaments consists of a curved section a to the ends of which are jointed, by means of twoposition spring hinges, branches c, d adapted to form in the closed position a complete circle. Each branch, Fig. 8, consists of a wire c<1> bent upon itself and secured at the ends to a plate f provided with an eye g to take the pivot pin b. A distance piece h reinforces the structure and eyes i are provided to receive projections on the detachable ornamental clip k, the other end of which is secured by passing the pins l behind the distance piece h. The branches c, d may lie side by side as shown in Fig. 2, or in opposition in Fig. 6.
