Abstract
365,795. Hair slides. BAXTER, C., 43, Ramsden Street, Huddersfield. Jan. 27, 1931, No. 2605. [Class 131.] A hair slide or fastening comprises two members connected at one end by an integral loop a forming a spring hinge, the outer member being curved or arched throughout the whole of its length, which may or may not include a part of the loop, and the inner member arched in the same direction along a substantial part of its length beyond the loop so that' it will lie closely in contact with the outer member when the two are forced together against the action of the spring hinge. The free end of the inner member engages the turned-over end of the outer member to form a securing-device. A clearance c is allowed between the ends to allow for deformation of shape of the members when gripping the hair.
