386,658. Brake transmitting- mechanism. NORTH, O. D., 76, Elm Park Mansions, Park Walk, Chelsea, HUGH, P. G. and SCAMMELL LORRIES, Ltd., 52, High Holborn, both in London. July 10, 1931, No. 24548/32. Divided on 386,653, [Group XXXI]. [Class 103 (i).] In a motor vehicle having two pairs of rear wheels, the brakes on these wheels are applied simultaneously by cables 9 connected to the ends of compensating beams 10 pivoted at the centre to levers 14, 14a on a transverse shaft 11. The lever 14 and also a lever 15 are fixed on the shaft and the lever 14a is loosely mounted on the shaft. The levers 14a, 15 are connected by links 16 to a compensating beam 15a connected by a cable 17 to the brake pedal. Specification 386,653 is referred to.
