Abstract
385,847. Hand actuating devices for switches. FIEDELBAUM, A., 37, Rue Condorcet, Paris. May 25, 1932, No. 14802. Convention date, Jan. 19. [Class 38 (v).] An electric - light circuit-breaker associated with the lock of a door and operable by the key on locking the door from the outside only, comprises an insulating plate 1, Fig. 3, adapted to be mounted over the lock on the outside of the door and recessed underneath to accommodate a toothed wheel 3 and a co-operating notched insulating bolt 4. The key has a radial projection behind the wards which passes into a slot 9 in the wheel 3 and provides rotable engagement therewith when the key is inserted from the outside, whereby the bolt 4 is forced against a spring contact member 10, Fig. 5, of a circuit-breaker 7 mounted in the keeper of the lock.
