Abstract

435,274. Latch &c. knob guards. MATSON, J. G., 261, Church Road, Hayes, Middlesex. March 20, 1934, No. 8710. [Class 44] For preventing access to the actuating knob of a door lock a plate 1 screwed to the door and through which the knob protrudes has two slots 8, 9 to receive respectively a projection 11 and a spring- bolt 13 on a knob cover 10. The bolt 13 is part of a keyoperated lock 12 on the cover. An additional slot 14 in the plate 1 supports the cover when not in use. Alternatively the cover 10 may be hinged to the plate 1.
