Abstract

An anti-theft cover has a fabricated body 4 with cover 2 attached to it by a hinge 1, four fixing holes 3 enable the anti-theft cover to befitted over any door lock protecting it from intruders. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Lock Security Cover This invention relates to a door lock security cover.
Door locks are easily opened by an intruder, by breaking a glass window adjacent to the door lock.
This invention enables the householder to cover the lock, which will deter any intruder from entering the house because he will have difficulty opening the cover to get at the lock.
Technical Features The cover is a small fabricated box with a hole in the front to enable the householder to open the lock.
But when the front cover is snapped in position any person trying to open it without the knowledge of its opening technique will be unable to gain access to the lock.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the drawings in which: Fig. 1 shows the cover in a closed position.
Fig. 2 shows the cover in a open position.
Referring to the drawing the cover comprises of a box 4 and a hinge 1 and a lid 2 and four fixing screw holes 3.
1. A door lock security cover comprising a body in the form of a fabricated box, a hinge, and a cover.
The body has an access hole in it to gain access to door lock.
2. A door lock security cover as claimed in claim 1.
The hinge is secured to the box and the cover enabling the cover to be snapped shut over the box.
3. A door lock security cover as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2 the cover snapped shut restricts access to door lock.

Door locks are easily opened by an intruder, by breaking a glass window adjacent to the door lock. This invention enables the householder to cover the lock, which will deter any intruder from entering the house because he will have difficulty opening the cover to get at the lock. Technical Features The cover is a small fabricated box with a hole in the front to enable the householder to open the lock. But when the front cover is snapped in position any person trying to open it without the knowledge of its opening technique will be unable to gain access to the lock. A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the drawings in which: Fig. 1 shows the cover in a closed position. 1. A door lock security cover comprising a body in the form of a fabricated box, a hinge, and a cover.
The body has an access hole in it to gain access to door lock.
2. A door lock security cover as claimed in claim 1.
The hinge is secured to the box and the cover enabling the cover to be snapped shut over the box.
3. A door lock security cover as claimed in claim 1 and claim 2 the cover snapped shut restricts access to door lock.
