Abstract

384,610. Loud-speakers. IDEAL WERKE AKT.-GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE 'TELEPHONIE, 97, Grosse Leegestrasse, Hohensch÷nhausen, Berlin. July 18, 1932, No. 20347. Convention date, Aug. 11, 1931. [Class 40 (iv).] A loud-speaker driving unit of the kind in which an armature is arranged to oscillate between or past magnet pole shoes has the oscillating movement of the armature converted into a piston-like movement of the diaphragm by interrupting the driving pin 1 at a point near the reed 2 and connecting the two parts by a ring 5 lying in a plane parallel to the pole shoes. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a construction in which the driving pin is formed with a flattened part in proximity to the reed. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
