384,500. Wick burners. CRICHTON, D., 13, Renfrew Road, Kennington, London. March 22, 1932, No. 6789. [Class 75 (i).] A burner having a central draught wick tube 6 and an inverted conical deflector, 4 disposed centrally within the wick tube, is provided with an air guide in the form of a truncated conical member 1 enclosing the wick tube and having an inturned upper end and a number of air apertures 3 in its lower part. The deflector 4 is supported from a spider 11 within the wick tube and is formed with a flared upper rim 12.
