[Class 52 (ii).] A back-rest for a seat is mounted upon a normally substantially vertical arm f adapted to be adjusted about an arcuate face b<2> provided upon a fixed protuberance b and to be maintained in adjusted position by means of a clamp e on a pivotal link c. When the clamp e is loose, the arms f may be adjusted vertically and the link c may be swung about its pivot c<1>.
