372,516. Back rests. LEABANK MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., Charlton Meade Works, KENT, F. W., The Hollies, Ware Road, and MORTIMER, C. J., 34, High Street, all in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. April 13, 1931, No. 10824. [Class 52 (ii).] A back-rest attachment for spanning across the back members or the arms of a chair comprises a pivoted back-rest and clamps for connecting this back-rest to the back members or arms. Such a device is shown in the Figure comprising a back-rest proper 1 mounted on a metal strip 2 secured to screw clamps 11 by linkage 4, 5, 7 having pivots at 3, 6, 8, 9.
