593,566. Adjustable seats. CHESTON, A. S., EDMONDS, E. C., CHESTON, B., and CORBER, F. H. June 4, 1945, No. 13486/46. Divided out of 593,544 and addition to 563,578. [Class 52(ii)] In a seat supported by angularly adjustable links 3, 4 the adjustment is effected by a pair of levers 6, 7 fulcrumed at points 17 between their ends to a coupling- bar 16 and movable by a threaded crossshaft 8 which carries nuts 13, 14. The mounting links can be secured to a vertical support and in modified constructions fixed uprights may be provided instead of links at either the front or the rear of the seat.
