382,024. Centrifugally moulding concrete hollow masts &c. STœHLER, M., Gereonshaus, and LœHDORFF, P., 79, Lindenthalgurtel, Lindenthal, both in Cologne, Germany. Sept. 11, 1931, No. 25578. Convention date, Sept. 26, 1930. [Class 87 (ii).] Hollow masts, poles, &c., of reinforced concrete and particularly such articles of tapered form are moulded by supplying the material to a mould m having guide rings o whereby it is driven by a pair of conical driving members b, c mounted on shafts f which are in the same plane and which are rotated in the same direction by gearing i, l. The conical driving members may be in the form of spaced discs e keyed to the shafts f. The rings o may be grooved peripherally or a single guide may be provided to prevent axial displacement of the mould. The vertices of the cones passing through the peripheries of the rings o and the discs e meet in a common point. The mould m may be supported'within the rings o by webs p thereby allowing moulds of zero or other taper to be rotated.
