381,304. Air-heating furnaces. LÍSCHE, H., 5, Hauptstrasse, Sch÷neberg, Berlin. Sept. 7, 1931, No. 25050. [Class 51 (ii).] A furnace for supplying drying air to a stack of wood, cement, or other material comprises a fire-box d, filter compartments e, and a chamber f provided with a suction fan g. The filter material may be fire-clay, limestone, or asbestos wool. Fresh air is drawn into an annular chamber h surrounding the fire-box and filter chamber and passes to a chamber i where it mixes with the combustion gases. Water or disinfectant may be introduced through pipe p to the filter chamber where it is vaporized and mixed with the combustion gases. The gases are driven by the fan g through pipe k to the covered stack of wood or other material. The fuel used in the furnace may be coal, coal-dust, oil, or wood.
