Abstract

417,610. Heating boilers. WOODALLDUCKHAM (1920), Ltd., and REBER, J. W., 136, Victoria Street, London. April 11, 1933, No. 10807. [Class 51 (i).] To enable waste heat boilers to be heated by gaseous or liquid fuel the combustion temperature of which is so high that it cannot be used undiluted without injury to the boiler, gas from a producer A or gaseous or liquid fuel from a flue K is introduced to a combustion chamber C and burnt with air entering through a port D. The combustion products are mixed in a chamber F with waste gases returned through a conduit H from the boiler E being heated or with waste gases supplied by another source through a flue J before entering the boiler. A fan G is employed for recirculating waste gases through the flue H.
