Abstract

376,138. Sleeve couplings ; cable end sleeves. SCHLEPER, J. F., 144, Keizersgracht, Amsterdam. Oct. 31, 1931, No. 30251. [Classes 36 and 38 (i).] A connector of the kind described in Specification 194,956, [Class 138 (i), Washing and cleaning buildings &c.], for joining flex or capping a cable core, comprises a tapering screwed sleeve 3 with a bell mouth 4 to guide the wires thereinto, and an insulating cap 1 that screws on a thread 5 located rearwardly of the bell-mouthed portion of the sleeve. The cap 1 has a flared opening 2 corresponding to the bell mouth 4. The sleeve 3 may be formed of a helical spring.
